Benno Bikes Joins Bloom Platform for US Development and Marketing

Benno Bikes has partnered with Bloom as a development and marketing center for its US operations. Benno will utilize Bloom’s platform for support, logistics, and future brand development services. Adding Benno Bikes to Newlab at Michigan Central represents the continued growth of Detroit’s mobility ecosystem, leveraging this growing ecosystem to improve Benno’s operational efficiency, product engineering, prototyping, sales, and marketing capabilities. Benno Bikes will continue to partner with Quality Bicycle Products for its existing US-based distribution and after-sales service.

Benno’s three decades of dedication and passion for innovating in the mobility industry is indisputable. Originally from Berlin, Germany, Benno co-founded the Electra Bicycle Company in San Diego, California, shortly after graduating from design school in 1993. Having successfully scaled and sold the company, his continued desire to innovate and design bicycles led him to create Benno Bikes in 2015. Renowned for their skill in designing bikes that combine fun and practicality, Benno Bikes created a new category they call Etility®, which is transportation bikes with the ability to carry extended cargo and the versatility to do more.
